Starting this school year, Tegan ISD is implementing a new policy requiring students to store cell phones and other personal electronic devices away during the entire school day. Devices should be turned off or silenced and kept in a backpack, locker, or designated storage area from the first bell until dismissal.
This change is designed to reduce distractions, support student focus, and encourage more face-to-face engagement in classrooms and hallways.
